a HUGE helping hand

i saw this over at Necole Bitchie and I was shocked, I've never seen something so moving...I haven't written anything on the DEVASTATING earthquake that happened in Haiti last week, not because I don't care, but because it's just SO unbelievable and sad and I try to keep my blog VERY positive, and I HAVE been supporting on Twitter though and spreading the word as much as I can through others and supporting others that are doing SO MUCH!  All I can say about this video is that Anderson Cooper is "Superman", he is AWESOME to have done this for someone, a child that he doesn't even know....UNBELIEVABLE!

Actress Charlize Theron is putting her best foot forward, no pun intended, and helping out the kids in her native country of South Africa.  She's debuting a new limited-edition collaboration with TOMS shoes.  The slip on sneakers, which are unisex, are embellished with an image of an African baobab tree.  The benefits will go towards the actress's non-profit Charlize Theron African Outreach Project.

10,000 pairs will be given to impoverished children in her hometown.

is it Valentine's Day?!?!

I have NEVER felt so appreciated by a man, besides my dad, in my life!

I was at work, just doing what I do....in comes the receptionist and THESE beautiful pink roses (a dozen) were wrapped in orange tissue paper with that pretty pink bow around them...I was SHOCKED! I mean I KNEW he was going to get me something, BUT I didn't know it was going to be so soon.  All of my co-workers were SO jealous, they were asking if he had any friends, LoL!

Inside read a note, "From Your Hunny with lots of love.  Can't wait to see you."

I texted him RIGHT away, I wanted to call him, but phone use is VERY limited at my office.

I kinda had a feeling that he was up to something, because he asked for the address to my office, but I didn't know it was going to be that soon! (I'm VERY gullible, LoL!)

Our 7 month anniversary is tomorrow, as far as us being together, & I am SO happy y'all, yup I'm getting all mushy on y'alls a**es, LMAO!

Then, I get home, and there are chocolates underneath my doormat, that REALLY took me back, that was one of the BEST DAYS EVER!
