FINALLY!

AN AGREEMENT!....The San Francisco 49ers & wide receiver Michael Crabtree, six-year contract, after SEVERAL months of negotiations.

The former Texas Tech star was the only draft pick who had yet to sign ...

The 22-year-old Crabtree and his agent, Eugene Parker, sat down with three top 49ers officials Tuesday in an attempt to work through his contract differences. Crabtree had scoffed at a long-standing offer of approximately five years and $20 million with a reported $16 million guaranteed, instead seeking money comparable to higher draft picks. (FOR REAL GUY?!)

The 49ers had until Nov. 17 to sign Crabtree for him to remain eligible to play this season. The team would have a seven-week window before the 2010 draft to trade Crabtree if he did not sign.
About damn time....
